Our Story
Innate wellness collective was created from a shared belief that health is not something to be forced or outsourced, but something that is cultivated through alignment — with the body, with rhythm, and with design. The work is shaped by lived experience, clinical practice, and a commitment to building health that supports families across generations.
ABOUT DR. BRIAN D.C.
Brian’s relationship with health began very differently. He did not grow up in a particularly health-conscious environment, but he spent most of his childhood outdoors, moving his body, playing sports, and developing a deep connection to physical challenge and resilience. Athletics became his primary outlet, teaching him discipline, leadership, and the importance of showing up consistently.
As Brian moved into adulthood, he began to experience firsthand the disconnect many men feel between performance and true health. While physical strength and competition came naturally, long-term vitality, recovery, and balance did not. It was through his relationship with Alex that he was first exposed to a more holistic view of health, one that looked beyond performance and addressed the nervous system, lifestyle, and internal balance.
This shift ultimately led him into chiropractic. Brian became deeply interested in how the nervous system governs every function of the body and how restoring proper communication can radically change how someone feels, moves, and lives. Through years of clinical practice, he has seen how removing interference allows strength, clarity, and resilience to return, not only physically, but in how men lead their families, show up in their marriages, and carry responsibility.
Brian now works primarily with men who feel depleted, disconnected, or stuck despite outward success. His approach emphasizes foundational health, nervous system regulation, hormone optimization, movement, nutrition, light exposure, and disciplined daily rhythms. This work became the foundation for Rise, a system designed to help men rebuild strength in a way that supports not just the individual, but the family as a whole.
ABOUT ALEX
Alex's understanding of holistic health began early. She was raised in a home where natural living was the foundation, chiropractic care was the primary form of healthcare, and there was a deep respect for the body's innate ability to heal when given the right support. From a young age, she learned that the same intelligence that created the body also equips it with an incredible capacity to restore and heal.
This foundation sparked a lifelong passion for lifestyle-based health, particularly as it relates to women, children, and the home. Alex spent years studying nutrition, functional wellness, and the many ways food, environment, movement, sleep, and daily habits shape long-term health.
Before becoming parents, Alex and Brian experienced the heartbreaking loss of a miscarriage—a season that profoundly influenced their approach to health and family. Determined to understand how to best support a healthy pregnancy and create the most nourishing environment possible for their future children, Alex immersed herself in the research surrounding fertility, prenatal health, and environmental influences. Along the way, she was surprised to discover just how significantly a father's health affects fertility, pregnancy outcomes, and the lifelong health of a child.
That realization transformed not only the way she prepared for motherhood, but the way she and Brian approached health as a family. Together, they made intentional lifestyle changes to support hormone health, regulate the nervous system, reduce environmental stressors, and strengthen the foundations of wellness before welcoming their first child.
Today, Alex is the mother of three children. While her primary role has shifted toward motherhood and caring for her family, her passion for holistic health has only grown. Raising her children has continually reinforced her belief that lasting health is built through consistent daily habits rather than extreme interventions. She believes the body functions best when it is supported with proper nourishment, a healthy environment, and rhythms that align with the way it was intelligently designed to function.
Life Beyond the Work
Outside of their professional work, Alex and Brian's greatest joy is their family. They intentionally build a life centered around connection, spending as much time as possible outdoors, at the beach, traveling, and exploring new places with their three children. Whether it's a quiet morning walk, an afternoon in the ocean, or an adventure together, they believe that some of life's greatest moments—and greatest opportunities for health—are found in simply being present.
Their lifestyle reflects the same principles they teach: nourishing the body, embracing movement, prioritizing meaningful relationships, creating space for rest, and cultivating an environment where families can thrive.
Innate Wellness Collective is a natural extension of that life. It was built from their shared experiences as healthcare providers, parents, and lifelong students of health. Guided by their faith and a deep respect for the body's innate design, they are passionate about helping others build lasting wellness through simple, sustainable habits. Their mission is to equip individuals and families with the knowledge and tools to support vibrant health, strong relationships, purposeful leadership, and a legacy of wellness for generations to come.
